How did you get your infant to nap after you couldn't swaddle any more? C started rolling a few weeks ago and finally woke up swaddled on his tummy Sunday morning. Now when I try to lay him down for a nap, drowsy or asleep, he either wakes up immediately or after just a few minutes.
Re: Nap ?
try the carters sleep sacks (my fav. plus they have arms on them for winter months) or the halo ones. We have used them from the beginning and love them. Funny how different kids are. Lyra doesn't roll over and if she the whole 3 times she has in her crib and ended in shrill screams which bolts a parent right out of bed at 4am.
Also, for naps, bedtime etc. Lyra doesn't go into her sleep sack until I lay her into bed. It's the "last step" in the routine before nap. I just lay out the sleep sack in her bed then can just zip her right in.
Benjamin is in the halo sleep sack because he started breaking out of every swaddle we tried. He does great at night. He only cat naps during the day - it's been like that since maybe 9 wks? - and everything daycare (and us on the weekends) have tried doesn't work.
I would try the sleepsack - He likes being warm and it restricts his legs a little so if he startles, he can only startle his arms!

Will get the particulars and email you this afternoon during nap time!
