2. Have any baby names in mind? Evelynn June (June after my gma) and then after DH

3. Hobbies? Well you should know by now considering you #5 question...baking, cooking, sewing...all that domestic goddess stuff.

4. Dream job (besides your current job)? I am really considering going back to school to get my master's in Midwifery...I would LOVE to be on the recieving end of life and have life start in my hands. My current job isn't exactly my dream job...working as a nurse in a jail isn't so fab...

5. Tastiest cupcake you make? (Your cupcake pictures on FB always look so delicious!) Probably my gingerbread cuppies with brown sugar meringue frosting...they are a holiday favorite. But check my FB in another week...I have a new creation coming up!

What's the last book you read?  The last book I have been able to finish was The Help and I really did enjoy it...up until the ending. I was sort of bummed about that part.

What is one issue you're passionate about?  I am going to sound like the dorky nurse here, but patient rights and patient care. I don't care where people are (jail, nursing home, hospital, etc...) but I believe that people are people nonetheless and deserve good medical care.

What can you not get enough of these days? Sweets... and nutella covered waffles...

1. How long have you been married? Military 4 1/2 years, civilian 3 1/2 years...long story there!

2. Are you enjoying California, if so, favorite part? I am enjoying the beauty of California and the beaches and all the fabulous things to do. My favorite part is a little town in the mountains just outside of San Diego called Julian. Such a small town and it just reminds us of small town OK.

3. Things you have noticed more of since pregnancy? Well to be honest, if AF was never missed I would not have known I was KU...but things I have noticed is that certain smells make me a little nausiated (fried food) and now that I am unable to eat certain foods, it really does bother me. I am very aware of my body too and all the little changes I fell inside.

4. Any weird cravings? Nutella covered waffles...I can't get enough. Oh and I am DYING for some tuna and sushi...

If you're brave... what are your religious views?  Oh I'm brave. I am Catholic and I will raise my children that way. I believe in God and Jesus Christ and I think that he did die and rise again for our sins. I believe in miracles and all that stuff. I have had people try to convince me other wise and it just won't change.

Political leanings? In OK I thought I was a democrat...in fact I am a registered democrat. But in CA I am most definintely a republican....and to keep it short we will just leave it there.

If you had 1 minute to tell me about yourself, what would you say? As one of my friends out here has described me, I look like I should be in heels and pearls with a roast in the oven, house spotless, waiting to greet my husband at the door. I am very Suzy Homemaker/ Martha Stewart/ Betty Crocker and I am okay with that.

Mmmm...so many questions....A. when ever my body decides. B. Preferably in the AM but not the crack of dawn. C. In enough time to come home and get dinner started...like 4ish. D. Usually 10-1030 is good for me.

3.What's your favorite reality TV show? I love the Biggest Loser...I LOVE seeing the way these people are able to change their lives and minds just not their bodies.

When is your EDD? March 31st, but we are really hoping that baby will be born on D's birthday on the 26th.

Do you plan on finding out the sex?  Most definitely!!! We both think it is a girl, but I am way too much of a planner to not find out!!

What's your favorite thing about being a nurse? Helping people. I really enjoy helping people in their time of need...and not to mention I love being able to not have to worry about what I wear to work everyday...scrubs are awesome!!  

 

Least favorite thing? All the drama and BS that comes along with administration and working with mostly women.

Favorite piece of clothing? Another good question...I love a good pair of jean and I have several pairs that I have worn in and are very comfy so I am just going to go with that.

Do you have a nursery theme yet? No themes really...I am not really a theme-y person. I do have my eye on some fabric selections for when we find out what baby is so that I can make all the bedding.

Best thing about being a military spouse? Everytime he leaves for a period of time and he comes home, it is like we get to fall in love all over again. I know that is way corny, but I feel like for us we get to get used to each other all over again like we are just starting our marriage over again. Worst thing? The part where he is gone all the time and all the BS he has to deal with because someone else didn't do their job.
