I'm a bit annoyed with last night's episode. First - I didn't like how the treated Kurt. Sure he's out but that's not his ONLY personality trait. I felt bad when they laughed at him. While I don't think he'd be a good Tony in West Side Story, they had no right to laugh at him.
Quinn's storyline is stupid. I think she's faking being "good".
I'm a fan of WSS but I thought the songs overall were just ok. I did like the Rachel and her mom duet but I really can't stand the faces Rachel makes when she sings.
Lastly, I HATE the Aspergers girl. Her not being able to control what she says is NOT aspergers - that would be turrets. UGH! Get it right!
Re: Glee anyone?
hmmm...I thought the whole laughing was not OK either, but I think they're doing it to prove a point - to show that these attitudes and stereotype roles are out there still. To me, Glee has always been about showing what is wrong and making it "right" down the line in some way so I'm holding judgement.
The Quinn thing could be a great story line. I actually am appreciating seeing what she has gone through and where it might lead. I don't think she's going to get the baby back (I don't remember that being said at all) but I think Rachel's mom letting her and Puck be in her life is amazing and having standards for that is fine as well.
As far as the Aspergers, that's the character calling it that, NOT Glee. She is a rich snob and wants to say whatever she wants and she labeled herself as such. Granted it's entirely incorrect, which adds to the irony, but I 100% don't think that is an a) real diagnosis for her character or b) Glee writers believing that's how it is.
