Old purses?

What do you ladies do with old purses (Coach, Vera Bradley, etc)?  I have a bunch I want to get rid of.

I finally went through my purse and shoe collection this past weekend and I just donated everything. There were Coach, a Marc Jacobs bag, some other nicer ones then some Target ones, same for shoes and with the shoes some were never even worn but I just wanted it out so it all went to Goodwill... Well it went into DH's trunk, whether he dropped it off next to his work or not I'm not sure, typical

Yes.... most are in really good shape...  was thinking of ebay but its a hassle.

I doubt I'd sell them on Ebay - look and see how much similar bags are selling for.

LV, Chanel, etc. I'd resell those, but I doubt you'd get much for your trouble on Ebay or Craigslist.

Like NDM, I just want them out so I bag them up, usually we get together a few big trash bags with clothes and other stuff to donate and call a group that does a pick up (Lupus foundation, Purple Heart).  For some of the nicer stuff I might try to consign or list on craigslist, but for me it's just not worth the hassle and once I've actually gotten around to the sorting and have decided I dont' want it, I don't want it sitting around taking up needed space.

You can definitely consign or eBay. I sold a Vera bradley BINDER on eBay for ~$20! The big thing w/ purses is to make sure you take pics of the inside so people can authenticate them. This reminds me I have a NWT coach bag I need to list.it's fallish and I didn't take pics of the inside (the inside tag w/ numbers etc) when I initially listed it. Also Coach is re-issuing some of their older all leather styles, so you might want to hang onto some of them. I saw a pic of gwenyth Paltrow toting a coach bag I have had since college @ a coach party! Lastly will you need some for dress up play down the line?

I will race her to your house for them as well.  

I have one small Marc Jacobs bag (not Marc for MJ) and even though I only get to carry it like 2-3 times a year I can't imagine donating it!
