Red Sox miss playoffs!

Brought to you by a Rays fan.

I know you see my Padres sig, let me clarify. I consider the Rays my AL team, because they are almost always the under dogs.

Re: Red Sox miss playoffs!

  • oh my gosh, what an exciting last day of the regular season!

I'm glad my Tigers were already in, but the drama over both Wild Cards, esp. the AL one was exciting!  I had Tampa down & out when it was 7-0, that was an amazing comeback.

Looking forward to the postseason on Friday!

  • It was exciting!!  The Cardinals are in too!! Yeah!!
  • I can't stand the Red Sox and I love that they had an epic collapse and what finalized it was losing to a inferior Orioles team!

And I'm really glad the Cardinals won.  Cardinals baseball is one of the things I miss most about living in St. Louis.

And Roar Tigers Roar!  We hope to get back to Michigan for a playoff game.

  • Those last two games last night were awesome!

I'm not a fan of Boston, either, so I was thrilled.

I am sad about my Braves, though..

Same here. Sad, sad day in BoSox land, but lots of great baseball last night.

Now, I start counting the days until hockey [since NBA isn't looking promising]...

  • I was so obsessed watching the Rays/Yankees and Sox/Orioles that I missed the almost comeback of the Dbacks (another grandslam) for a second night in a row.  What a fun night!

    HEY FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    How's it going girlie?

I still think of you whenever I see the ROAR sign flashinig at Comerica Park. We'll be there on Monday :)

  • haha I was so torn by the outcome!

I am not a BoSox fan so seeing them lose was nice, but I am a Rangers fan and now they are playing the hottest team in baseball vs probably what would have been the worst team in the playoffs.  In that since playing the BoSox sounds enticing.

I was so rooting for LA to beat Texas, so we could have home field advantage, but I'm glad we're playing NY instead.  Plus, the weather here is rainy & cold, and come Monday it's suppose to be sunny & warmer.

It's going good!  DH is going back to Michigan mid-October (I won't be going) and the weekend he's there, he'll be catching MSU on Saturday, the Lions on Sunday and maybe, just maybe, a Tigers playoff game.

We are psyched! He got tickets if the Yankee series goes to 5. I told him to take my cousin (from Troy and lives here now) because I will be way to nervous to sit still.
