International Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Hi there,
I was just wondering if there is a The Nest lingo cheat sheet posted somewhere. I've seen a lot of abbreviations that I don't know. Like what is "DH"? I have figured from the context that it means husband, but why is it DH?
(I am sure I'm being really dense, but I can't even think of a reasonable guess!)
Re: TN Slang
Bio
DH - Darling/Dear/Dang/Damn Husband depending on one's mood
DS - Dear Son
DD - Dear Daughter
YWIA - You're welcome in advance
TIA - Thank you in advance
YGPM - You've got a PM
FTW - For the win
AW - Attention Wh0re
BFP - Big Fat Positive
BFN - Big fat negative
TN - The Nest
TB - The Bump
TK - The Knot
I know there are plenty more but these are just off the top of my head. I tried to find the abbreviation list and it seems to have disappeared.
I bookmarked this a long time ago, hope it helps!

That link from sewatkins is fantastic!
The ones I would highlight/add would be:
IN - International Nesties (can refer to a regular poster or to the board: "She's my favorite IN!" "I only post on IN.")
AE - Alter Ego (a second screen name, often anonymous, usually funny and/or mean, under which a regular member sometimes posts)
IRL - In real life
GTG - Get-together (IRL meetups)
MIL/FIL/SIL/BIL - Mother/Father/Sister/Brother in-law
XH/ExH/EH - Ex-husband, Estranged husband
BOTB - Babies on the brain (thinking all the time about getting pregnant)
SAHM - Stay-at-home mom
XP - Cross-post (posting or copying the same post on another board)
C&P - Copy and paste (copying a post from another board; sometimes interchanged with XP)
ETA - Edited to add
DD - Dirty Delete (to delete a post later, usually out of shame after a lot of flameful replies, but sometimes due to privacy concerns. e.g. "I might DD later.")
F/U - Follow-up (used to tag a follow-up post in the subject)
S/O - Spin-off (used to tag the subject of a post that spun off another discussion. e.g. "S/O TN Slang - Using Nest acronyms IRL")
OP - Original poster (author of the original post, as opposed to all of the commenters)
FFC - Flame-free confession (potentially controversial confessions that are - in theory - supposed to be free from judgy flame replies; but aren't always). Related: FFFC - Friday flame-free confessions
WDINT - What do the INs think?
PIP - Picture in post (pictures included in posts). Also used as a verb: "PIP your favorite vacation destination!"
Also, a lot of the boards have abbreviated names:
