Re: AW Thursday
Bio Good Times
He probably will unless he is just too hyped up from everyone being there. Randall actually has him trained so that when you lay down on the floor he will curl up against you for a tummy rub. He is VERY spoiled.
BL - Good news on the first procedure. I hope everything turns out well with the other. If open heart surgery is the next step try not to worry too much, which I know is much easier said than done. It is such an advanced surgery now that it is much easier on the paitient than it was 10 years ago.
LOL, this sounds JUST like my dog, Sarge. He is not quite great dane size, but he is a 100lb lab. It makes entertaining guests with food out a bit difficult when he can just walk up to any table and grab what he wants.
BL - I'm glad your mom's procedure went well, and keeping you in my thoughts for the outcome of this specialist.
On a lighter note, the salsa chicken is DELICIOUS! DH and I walked in the door last night and were hit with the scrumptious smell. We both thought it was great and for only taking 5 minutes to make in the morning, I will definitely be making that again.
I picked up a foster dog for the weekend. He is so cute, but has a cone on b/c he was neutered yesterday. He can't figure it out and is running into EVERYTHING. It is really funny when he just wants to smell Sarge and ends up head butting him with the cone. Sarge just keeps giving him this look like "hey, what gives?"

Michelle, that is too funny! I love the cones and how comical they make everything.
Leslie, either 11 or 12 is fine with me... I was just hoping it wasn't 10, because that would put me leaving my house pretty early. Just guessing, but I think it's about an hour to your house. I'm pretty excited about Titan too - I've never met a Great Dane before!
YES! Both my old boss and one of my old coworkers have done this and lost 40 or more pounds each. Funny thing is that they have both done at least 3 rounds of it and in between gain what they lost back but still seem to think its a good idea to do it again.
I'm stuck on Part II of the book and I have until Tuesday to finish it.
I hope you get good news from the specialist BL.
This! I'm glad she's doing well.

That exactly what I did too! We had a spinach and strawberry salad with homemade balsamic vinaigrette, a little rice, and the chicken. I used the 1/3 fat cream cheese and doubled your recipe except the cream cheese. Yum! And now we have plenty of leftovers.

BL: I'm glad the procedure went ok. Praying for good news after seeing the next specialist!
