Dear Company managers,
If you really feel the need to wait until the VERY LAST minute to do your work, then you are causing me to work until very late to get my work done. This is unacceptable and I do have a family of my own. My daughter would like to see me for more than 5 minutes between getting home and when she has to go to bed. Oh, and your procrastination does mean that I have to stay late to make sure that everything is done properly.
So get your sh!t in early so I can go home!!

Dear classroom teachers whose students come to me for music,
Congratulations. Your lack of classroom management skills has undermined my own class's structure. My methods prove to be ineffective week after week because you fail to reinforce them in your classrooms where the kids spend the vast majority of your time. I'm at the end of my rope and it's only the end of September, and I blame you for a large portion of that. In the future I would appreciate it if you could at LEAST share with me the strategies you use in the classroom so we can collaborate. If you don't have any strategies, I'm happy to share some of mine with you, but we have to work something out here. Otherwise I'm going to be dead by the end of the school year.
