DH and I have been waiting almost 5 months for a short sale offer that we submitted to get approved, in the mean time we have still been looking around, but haven't found anything else we liked. Last week we viewed a property we absolutely fell in love with and just felt like home....well more like my grandma's home. It is filled with wall paper. But anyway, we decided to go for it and our offer, after a few counters, was accepted last night! Now we have to try to cancel our short sale but that one will be expired here shortly anyway. I hope everything goes as planned, I am just ready to move into our own space again and get settled! We have been searching since January for a home! If everything does go as planned we will be closing late next month. Woohoo! I better start packing!

Congratulations! Wonderful to be able to look forward to a new home.
P.S., we found that plain vinegar and water works well for removing wallpaper...just as good if not better than 'Dif', which we found stained some of the surrounding walls and has lots of chemicals :-).
Congrats!!!
Our realtor was able to retract our offer on a short sale really easily so you should be fine.
Wallpaper is the DEVIL to remove but once it's down you will have a blank canvas to work with and personalize! :-)
