Your second link leads to an out of stock page, but I really like that belt.  I'd do a denim dress too (been there, done that) but it'd be a cold day in hell before I wore cowboy boots.    Much to E's dismay... I married a country guy from Brooklyn.  Go figure.

BTW, I've realized as that was posting through my Sudafed/Robitussin/Theraflu haze that my last post could have sounded disparaging to cowboy boots or people who wear 'em.  I don't mean it that way.  They're cool in the right states, just here in Bergen County,NJ I find them to be pretentious (we're not cowboys) and they're NMS.

re the boots - DH bought them for me years ago and I have only worn them like 3 times which I found out really upsets him ( he was only making like $30K a year and the boots were like $275 ! ) so I figured this would be a perfect oppurtunity !

Oh, I love this dress!

Yeah, cowboy boots are freakin' expensive.  E has a pair that was near-death, so we were looking for new ones for him and I was flabbergasted.  At the time, he ended up just getting his re-heeled & soled.  If they didn't need to fit so specifically I'd get him a pair for Christmas.

Yeah...I don't own a pair of cowboy boots, either...I caught a lot of crap for that while I went to OSU [and while I've been working here, too]. :P

I also live in Texas and have never owned cowboy boots. I do have some mules that look like cowboy boots worn under jeans, though.

Love it!  I need some cowboy boots.  I had some in high school.  I went through my country girl stage then. : )  I do live in TN, so cowboy boots are always in style.
