As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Amazon Customer Service (Kindle)

Just wanted to say that Amazon's customer service rocks!! I bought a 3rd generation kindle less than a year ago, but I accidentally damaged the screen. I didn't think Amazon would care, but I called them up anyway just to make sure. I told the representative the honest truth (that I had it in a heavy bag and the screen looks like there was pressure damage), and she told me that because the kindle was within the 1 year warranty, they'd send me a new one. And they did. All I had to do was send my broken one back to them (no shipping charges or anything). I've heard others with similar stories. Amazon, your customer service is amazing!!!! Just thought I'd share.

  • I had a similar experience with them - case was cracked and I got in touch. While I thought the guy was just chatting for extra details he was actually organising a replacement Kindle for me. Top stuff (though reorganising all my books was a nightmare).
