I want to get a nice set of sheets. I had one with our queen bed, but I skimped when I got the king set and now I haaate them. I've tried googling the brand of the queen sheets online, but can't find them. Do you have any brands that you love? Want to help me shop? I particularly like damask stripes.

I did the exact same thing and hate mine too. I hate buying sheets. I never know what to buy. I know that doesn't help you at all. Hopefully someone else has some input.

I just get sateen sheets with a good enough thread count for me (don't need 600) either from BB&B, Penney's, Target or overstock.com.  I'm not that picky though.

I'm ridiculously picky. I get it from my mom. We once took a trip to the mall of millennia to go to the nice department stores to feel their sheets when my mom was shopping for new sheets.My sheets now are pilling and it's making me want to die in my sleep so I don't have to sleep on them the next night.

When we got married we got 2 sets of sheets, exactly the same except different colors - but the thing is, even those feel different to me. Then I bought a set of silky higher thread count sheets which were wonderful, for approximately 3 days. Then they started to pill and pull and stuff. Then after I washed them they were so bad I ended up throwing them away within a month. We are back to switching between our two identical/not the same sets from before.

I'm all about Jersey sheets. I find they don't pill and are soft without being expensive.
