Re: Weekend Projects?
I'm working on a little more embroidery and squares for a dissapearing 9 patch quilt. fun fun!
Probably not much in the crafty sense - we're replacing the entire sill on the front of our house this weekend (if it doesn't rain terribly).
If it rains so bad we can't - then I'm finishing the baby blanket for LO, and working on some Christmas ornaments alllllllll weekend long

I've got to put the last border on the Classic Pooh quilt I've been working on this week, then quilt and bind and mail.
Then, depending on whether I've received my package from Joann or not, I'll either complete the backing of another baby quilt, quilt and bind or I'll work on the metro quilt again.
I've promised myself that I won't buy any new fabric until the metro quilt is finished as motivation. I have 2 groupons to the LQS burning holes in my email, so I've gotta finish soon.

I will be finishing up a tote bag, a hair clip holder and a casserole holder.
But I want to start a new knitting project

I can't decide on which yarn though.
pinkyp, let me know how the casserole holder goes. I have 2 tutorials that I want to try to make one. Not sure which would be better though!
I'm currently working on this sweater:
And cast these socks on, but am not finding much motivation to work on them. I don't think I'm a "sock knitter."

Sure, I'll let you know. FYI, I'm following this http://2littlehooligans.blogspot.com/2010/10/casserole-carrier-tutorial.html
pinky, I'm using the one from homemade by Jill. But she says she used that tutorial from 2 Little Hooligans but made 2 changes.
The other one one is out of my Quilts and More magazine.

More work on top secret Halloween costumes, and not much else craft-wise.
Tomorrow is our anniversary so we are going to goof off and go to lunch or dinner oot. I just need to decide whether I want to go to the tapas place over the hill, or Dukes in Malibu. Tough decision.;)
I'm super envious right now- I'd give my left eyeball for a Duke's fish taco. (I went to Pepperdine, so it used to be right down the street and now I am so, so far away)
Happy Anniversary!

Pretty! What yarn does it call for? What material are you hoping to use?
Just finished two projects for my NSA, but haven't sent them yet. I haven't PIPed since January, so I'm excited once I can!
This weekend will be painting the guest bedroom, refinishing some furniture, and sewing my Halloween costume. Don't know which order as it will depend on the weather (the furniture) or my mood.
PAIF and SAIF welcome. IVF questions welcome, too.
Thanks!
DH drives past there every night on the last leg of his long commute, and always calls when he reaches Pepperdine so that I know when he'll be home. I ask him to pick up dinner to go from Dukes, and he says it won't travel well. We always bring home leftovers and they are amazing reheated, so I think he is crazy.
1. I'm hoping I can work on a tutu for DD.
2. I would also like to go through my scrapbook paper and pull out all the paper that I think I might use for her scrapbook so I can see what I need to buy.
3. I would like to design some things on my cricut design studio so that when I do start on her scrapbook I will also ready have them done and can just press cut and not have to worry about sitting there figuring out what designs I want.
I just laid out all the squares for a quilt. They're on the floor right now. Every time I walk past I move them around. I'll give it one more pass-by and consider it ready to finish piecing.
I'm hoping to stop by a local quilting/fabric store to buy backing and binding fabric and batting for another quilt top I finished. If all goes well, I'll have the quilt top from above finished, and this quilt sandwich pinned by the end of the weekend.
Also working on cleaning up the second bedroom (AKA stuff room) so we can use it as extra space for our Halloween party. DH is up there putting away/throwing away 10 things right now.
