DH doesn't get it
I'm working on something to hang on the wall in the nursery that coordinates with the bedding. I bought four 8X10 photo mats (pics are 5.5X8.5) and a can of spray paint (didn't have the color I wanted). DH asked why I didn't make sure and get the outside edge of the mats. I explained what I had planned for the rest of the project. He told me he didn't like my idea. I know I'm hormonal/a touch crazy at this point, but way to suck the joy out of this project for me!

I'm sorry that he was a killjoy.
Hopefully when you finish it he will see that he was wrong and you were right. I guess it would be too much to ask for that he realizes the error of his ways and trusts you in the future, but one can hope.

I'm sure your project is going to be amazing! still, it's a major bummer when you are psyched about a project and DH just can't get it.

Our nursery bedding didn't having any coordinating decor, so I made some. I drew the cute little animals from the bedding on cardstock, colored them w/ colored pencils, and am framing them to go above the changing table/dresser.
Your project sounds so cute! Can't wait to see the finished product!
I am totally going to steal that line and use it on DH...Love it!
I'm sure it looks awesome and he just can't 'see the final result'. Dh does similar things to me and then I go ahead with it, and he then says 'you were right'.
Your dh will have the same reaction, I'm sure!
