pool owners - a Q
do you have a heater in your pool?
was it there when you bought the house, or did you add it?
i want to get a heater - and have no knowledge about pool things at all.
any input is appreciated!

Average cost, good brands, average cost it takes to run it. Solar vs electric....i don't know how big the pool is. That would probably help, huh.
Nicole - LOL. My niece and nephew have been given very strict instructions that there is no peeing in our pool. Apparently my MIL is lenient on this rule at their house. EW.
We don't have a heater so I can't help on that. But the peeing in the pool....We told all the kids we have a "special dye" in the pool that if they pee it will show up! So, when we have a few kids in the pool I will put a few drops of food color in the pool and they are always blaming each other! I's priceless!

Then he said it depends on size of pool, cost of electricity, how hot you want the water to be, etc. I told him I just want a general idea. I guess its not that simple.
