Work shower was fun!

Friday's baby shower at my work went well; good food of course, but I always loathe being the center of attention. I should have worn a shirt with the baby's due date b/c I think I was asked the same question 7 times in 10 min, a little annoying. But I got some more things for the baby, several more shampoos and lotions, we're going to have one clean and good-smelling child!

By far the best thing we've received so far is the quilt my coworker made. We're in the same dept. (only 3 people) so of course we're close after 5 years of working together. She's very talented and I almost cried when I opened it. Take a look:

 

She "hid" 3 words in the letters; love, joy and bun (we call the baby Bun) It's so cute and colorful, I just love it.

Oh forgot to say the cake batter bark went over spectacularly - the white choc set a little too fast so lots of the sprinkles fell off when I broke it up into pieces, but turned out decent for a first time making it I think!

Awww love the quilt!!  So beautiful, I love unique handmade gifts like that.  I am super intrigued by the cake batter bark.
