Bayfield, WI Vacation Ideas
Hi All,
My husband and I are headed to the Bayfield area this weekend and we are looking for some suggestions as to "must-do's" in the area. We know that Apple Fest is going on this weekend but wanted to see if anyone else had some good or bad, for that matter, experiences in that area.

I actually just went up there a few weekends ago for our anniversary. Glad the apple festival is going on but other than that there is not to much IMO. There is a boat ride of the apostle islands which we really enjoyed. We ate at Maggie's which was really good) and a restaurant on the corner - Pier something I think. There is a ferry to Madeline Island but we didn't head over there. It was raining and we wanted to go on the boat ride instead. There really isn't too much shopping I thought. Where are you staying?
Oh, they also are big into sailing so if you like to sail you you can go on rides but they recommend you book that before. Or kayaking (which maybe it's to cold for that now). Enjoy your trip!
