So my interview went well. I was more nervous than usual, but otherwise I thought I did fine. I sent TY's and heard back, then I didn't hear back for a while so I called (using the squeaky wheel theory) and I got a reply saying they'd let me know. After all that I wasn't too confident. Then Thursday night I got a phone call saying they wanted me to come in this Wednesday at 10:30 AM. I just need to ask: is this normal? Is this going to be a third interview? Do those exist? He didn't say anything about it being a third interview, just that he and the head of the department wanted to meet with me at that time. From anyone's experience, does this seem promising, like a good thing? I'm a tad bit nervous, don't really know what to expect.

Yes, I would consider it a 3rd interview. They definitely exist...My DH had a 3rd interview last week and is currently waiting to hear back.
In any case, it sure isn't a bad thing!
Thank you both for the advice.It is definitely a meeting/interview of some kind and I am nervous/excited. Really hoping this will pull through. It is the perfect location from my house and better pay.
