Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Homecoming update!
They got to go! DH called his brother (the family voice of reason!) to ask for his advice. He said that he thought he at least owed it to us to call and let us know that the night was off. So he called the parents and they said that their son had some work to do and apologies to make and then they could go. WHEW! Still, Friday was a total loss for Ellie. She had a friend over to study and all she did was cry. I myself felt like throwing up.
Ellie looked beautiful. I was called at 10:45 to go up to Prep. Her best friend's dress ripped from the slit in the back and up, past her bottom. I went into the bathroom with her and sewed it up so she could finish the evening. $200 dress- ripped! Ellie said she is carrying a pocket sewing kit with her from now on!

This happened to me. Sophmore year homecoming. I had a slit in the back of my dress and I think when I got out of the car to dinner it started to rip. I called my mom and she came to the bathroom at the restaurant to sew me up! Luckily it didn't rip that high but I never bought a dress with a slit again.
