Recommend your Chemical free toilet paper and feminine products

I am trying to switch my house over to chemical free products.  I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good toilet paper and feminine products like panty liners/tampons??? I'd prefer to stay away from the Diva Cup

  • Just curious why you aren't interested in the DC?  Before I tried it, I didn't think I would really like it, but now I don't think I'd ever use anything else.

Are you against using re-usable panty liners?  I have a few from Party in my Pants and they are awesome.  Very cute patterns, comfortable to wear and easy to clean.  They will send you your first one for just the cost of shipping ($3 I think) to try it out.  That's what sold me.

  • Why no Diva???

I *never* thought I'd try it, let alone love it, but now I'm a big fan and even bought my sister one after she said she'd try it. She's a convert, too.

Reusable liners are great. I have several gladrags, which are cotton flannel.  They are really comfortable and breath well.  The ones linked above give a little more protection (they are lined) and don't bunch.  I only use them for liners and as backup with DC (it's not necessary, if i don't empty it often enough it overflows; this keeps my forgetfulness/busyness from being messy).

If you opt for disposables, a good organic brand is natracare (for liners and tampons; i'm not sure about the pads).

These are so cute! I bookmarked the site for a future purchase. :)

  • I have vulvodynia and am trying to stay away from "incerting" things, so that's why I'm trying to stay away from the diva cup.... thanks for your info, I'll look into the suggestions...
  • I use Maxim tampons. They have panty liners too but I have not tried them.
  • If you are looking for Chemical free - Green, check out Winalite.

I started using their feminine products about 2 years ago and will never us another Always pad in my life. They are super absorbant, and don't have the plastic-y base so they don't get uncomfortable because they are a breath-able material.
