Amanda Knox found not guilty

I know we haven't discussed it on the board, but thought I would share....the verdict was just read.

Re: Amanda Knox found not guilty

  • I am glad.  Not sure if she did it or not, but definitely not enough evidence.

  • I just read this story online to figure out what all the fuss was about.

This story to me is similar to Casey Anthony in the fact that people are all gonna be mad that she isn't going to spend her whole life in prison, but the reality is there wasn't enough evidence to convict her. I didn't have an opinion on Amanda Knox but I'm sure it'll be all over the news just like everything else.

  • Interesting.....the evidence and investigation were pretty screwed up to justify a guilty verdict...

  • The biggest thing I do not get is why the family of Meredith Kutcher is still saying 'we will catch the person that killed Meredith."  Haven't they already?  Before Amanda and her boyfriend were arrested, they arrested the other guy,, the drifter, who's DNA and bloody handprints were all over that place, he admitted to being there that night,  and he has been tried and convicted of the murder.

Meredith's family said they were told by police there was no way this guy could of acted alone....that there had to be three people and that is why Amanda and her boyfriend were arrested, and they still believe that after everything?  I guess I don't understand never having to be in that situation, but to me it's pretty obvious the murderer was caught and is in jail and there was no one else involved.
