Pot Roast in crockpot with soda and onion soup mix?
I swear it was someone here that gave me that recipe. Just a can of soda and a packet of onion soup mix. I remember it being delicious. Am I missing another ingredient or is that really it?
Re: Pot Roast in crockpot with soda and onion soup mix?
I've never heard of adding a can of soda to a pot roast, but I do add one to my pulled pork:
4-6 lb pork shoulder, trimmed of visible fat
1 can cola
1 paacket dry onion soup mix
1 large onion, roughly cut (optional)
Cook on LOW 8-9 hours. Remove pork from slow cooker, discard bone and shred meat with two fork. Return meat to slow cooker and mix with sause. Serve warm.
