Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

March 09ers New & Old Come in..
So it is obvious our page keeps dwindling down further and further.
I'm throwing it out there that we should maybe consider moving over to FB. The CDing board did this and it is extremely active as it is easier to post from phones directly on the wall.
Thoughts? Is this a terrible idea? Would this make your more active or are we just a dying breed?

I do think it'd be folly to try and maintain both places simultaneously. One or the other is bound to fail if we try that. I've had other groups, bigger more active ones, try to exist of FB and elsewhere at the same time and it's never worked.

I think we are down to 10 people who post weekly/daily - its really sad.
sometimes I don't check for days because I know if anything major major happened it would be on FB - I'm all for it.

I admit it would be sad to see this page go just because we've been here so long but I agree that FB is easier to post on. They even unblocked it at work (although I'd still do it from my phone).
We can give it a try
I think I'm the moderator of the old FB page. Do you want me to creat a new one and if so, what do we want to name it?

it def would have to be private - because I think last time we had it just as March 09 brides and it was everyone and their mother getting married in March 09 - not just nesties. ( posers )
in a way ( and this is me being passive aggressive ) I think it should only be for people who are more active on this board ( all 10 of us haha )
I'm in if anyone want to try the FB route to see if it works. I will miss this board (now I'm going to have to find a new one to hang out on
I know I have about 35 FB friends from here, so we can invite them all, maybe they will post because becuase it's on FB and not here. And it totally needs to be private as invite only to post and to view.
I also like the idea of a group name with a little pizzaz

Ha ha I love this!! I'm game for whatever we all decide. I do get tired of turning the JavaScript on and off. I will miss coming here though, but I'm down for FB group. Someone will have to tell me how to find it because I can't find the other group from my phone.
