Favorite new shows?

Is anyone into any  new shows this fall? I got a rec from a friend to watch A Talented Man, and a coworker recommend Person of Interest.

Since moving we've been so out of it with TV shows- just curious what other new ones are out there and good this season?

Re: Favorite new shows?

  • I started watching a few new shows.

Up All Night - not thrilled with it.  I love Christina Applegate too.  I find the show rather dull and silly.

Ringer - could go either way.  I like Sarah Michelle Gellar and I think the plot is awesome - one twin faking her death and the other taking her place while someone is after her trying to kill her.  I have to hand it to the person who came up with the storyline.  I just hope it continues to thrill.

Revenge - so far so good.  I like how this goes back and forth between the past and present to show why she's seeking revenge.  The characters in this show are interesting and entertaining.  Another possible thriller.

Pan Am - I didn't watch last nights episode yet so I've only watched one show but I like it.  Wasn't great or thrilling but it was entertaining.  We'll see how it goes.

I think that's it for new shows.  I have my usual shows - How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Desperate Housewives, Mike and Molly.  I'm HATING 2 1/2 Men this year.

  • Lately I've been sticking with my old favs...I have heard good things about Revenge.  Im hoping it will be on On Demand for awhile so when I have like a day home sick I can just watch.  I also heard that show Whiteney is pretty funny.

Theres going to be a few new shows starting soon that I think look good, Grimm, Once Upon a Time, and An American Horror Story..I like them b/c they look differnet and like nothing else thats on tv

  • I haven't started any new ones this year.  I DVRd the first episode of Up All Night but I think I feel asleep watching it - probably not a good sign.

House premiered last night.  I know it's gone of the deep end but I will likely continue to watch for a bit longer.

  • We DVRed Pan Am but still haven't watched it. DH seemed to like Up All Night and Two Broke Girls. I'm not a huge fan of sitcoms, but I'll watch them because they are on the DVR.

  • Ive gotten into 2 Broke Girls and Pan Am. I keep forgetting to dvr 2BG so i "watch" it on hulu at work, it sounds funny so Im sure watching it would make it better. I wanted to watch revenge but forgot all about it. Once Upon A Time hasnt started yet right? I want to see that too.

I'm still stuck on my older shows: Greys, Desperate Housewives (sad its the last!), Castle, Sons of Anarchy (!!!), 2 1/2 Men (might make my way through 1-2 more shows n be done), How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Mike & Molly, SVU (Hating it with Stabler gone), Im sure theres more Im forgetting. Ive said before that I work 8a-10p, so its all DVRed and something to help me wind down while DH is OOT working.

  • DH and I are both loving Revenge so far.

I liked the first episode of Pan Am but the second was less interesting.  I'll probably keep watching for at least a few more episodes.

I watched all three episodes of Up All Night when I was bored one night.  It was funny but I'll probably just wait until they load three more online before I watch again.  I hate 30 minute shows.

Mildly dissapointed by the way the final season of Desperate is going but I'll keep watching because I've watched all along.

Loving Grey's Anatomy so far this season.  Private Practice is okay.

  • Oh and I started watching The Playboy Club.  The ONLY reason I'm watching it is because I think Eddie Cibrian is to DIE for.  Simply the hottest guy alive in my opinion - LOVE those dimples!  The actual show is just ok.
