My son is having a birthday party this weekend and has quite a few of his preschool friends coming over. I was just wondering what some ideas were for food. I know some (including my child) are so picky. I am doing a fruit/veggie tray, pigs in blankets, and was contemplating on having some uncrustables (pb&j) but wasn't sure if that would be tacky? What do you guys think/suggest? I have everything else planned for the adult food (baked ziti, rice, grilled burgers/hotdogs, salad).
Re: 4 year old party food
But he, along with most of his friends, will eat cheese pizza, chicken nuggets, and hot dogs.
My kids request pizza, mac&cheese, hotdogs, cheese doodles, and watermelon. I've also noticed - kids are too busy playing to eat. They will usually munch. At parties, I wind up throwing away so much pizza b/c the kids are too distracted (having fun) to finish.
My eldest son's birthday party is next weekend and I'm thinking we're going to BBQ - hot dogs, burgers, veggie burgers, corn and baked beans. I always serve a plate of cheese cubes, crackers and grapes and the kids gobble that up immediately. Hope your son has a blast at his party!
