Massage

I've been doing really well with my training/weight loss the past couple weeks, and I want to reward myself with massages (which I'm totally addicted to) when I meet each goal. Any suggestions on the Eastside?

Re: Massage

  • I love my massage therapist, but she's been so crazy busy lately that she's booking 3-4 weeks out now. (She's also kind of flakey sometimes about returning calls, but she is REALLY good and awesome.) I can PM you her info if you want.

  • The massage therapist I see does outcalls if you're okay with someone coming to your house. She's fantastic:

  • I've been seing a lady named Connie at Balanced Body Massage in Mill Creek, and she's fantastic. I got lured in by a living social deal a while back, but she's been immensely helpful with my running/workout aches and pains, among other things. Not Eastside of course, but I drive from Kirkland to see her.

A little pretentious, but Enchante Day Spa on Market St in Kirkland also gives a fantastic massage. They're definitely not down to earth like Balanced Body, but their massages are really great. I'd go to them again, but not regularly, just because the service isn't great.

Congrats on your hard work! A good massage will only motivate you to keep going!

ETA: almost forgot, Body Therapy Group in Redmond is also really great. I saw Timarie for a massage a while back, and I'd return to her as well. Just in case Redmond is more convenient for you. It's over by the main Microsoft campus.

Thanks! It's hard, but I've been feeling better than I have in years!

I actually have a Groupon for them that I'll be using in the next couple of weeks. I tried someone today at Alleviation Massage over in Bellevue, and she was actually really great! I'd like to try a few more people before I settle on one to give all my monies to. :)

Haha! I wanted to choose something I love that wasn't food, since food is a bigger challenge for me than the exercise!
