AW: Sounders
Went to my first Sounder's game last night as DH has wanted me to attend one with him and he thought this championship/non-season game would be fun. I don't mind soccer but it's not something I seek out. Hubby has really wanted me to go to one this season and since it's something he really loves and that is important to him (and I don't hate), I felt I should do this for him. He always does things that I want to do with me.
We ended up having a lovely date! We split a 12" Philly cheesesteak for dinner from Tat's Deli for dinner, and boy, that thing was so stuffed I could have split the 8" and been less full! We missed the rally walk or whatever it's called from Pioneer Square to the stadium. H bought me a rally scarf (it was so hard choosing, but I went with a Casey Keller since I 
the Keeper). OMGosh the game was so much fun!! It was a really well-paced game, nailbiting until near the end, and it was a lot of fun being with all those other fans. I may have to attend with him more often.
H was so cute and all snuggly when we got home because I went to his game with him, his team won AND I had fun.

We have friends who buy a slot of season tickets and H "bought" half of one of those seats. I told him I would have zero issues with him getting full season, but he figures things come up so he'd have to miss games sometimes.

Things do come up. We didn't go to all the games this year as I was very uncomfortable and Edmund was born the morning of the April 30th game. He has pretty much gone to every game since the May 14th game, I think we have missed a total of 2 home games since and will miss this Saturday because of surgery.
We just have lots of family and friends that we have given tickets to when we can't go.
EVERY SINGLE TIME i come within 10 feet of a soccer ball in play, it will come straight at my face. only once i've avoided it successfully. i hate soccer.
even my character/player/whatever in the video game got hit in the face the first time i tried to play the video game.....
