Outlets...

I was thinking of dragging my DH to the outlets in Aurora... have you been and do you think it's worth the trip?

I havent been there in at least a year, but last time I went it was nice-but not really my thing.  I know that you can certainly find good bargains there, especially if you are into labels.  I dont go there much bc I dont wear many designer clothes-I prefer Kohls. LOL!  Some girls I know love that designer stuff-bags, sunglasses, shoes.  From what Ive heard, they seem to think they are getting a bargain when they go there.  Also, Im sure you know this already, but it is an outdoor mall, so in this chilly weather, I would def plan it for a nicer day, or bring a warm jacket!

I am not a big fan of Aurora but if you are willing to make the trip the outlets in Kenosha, WI are my favorite... plus sales tax is only 5% in WI so it is so much cheaper to shop up there!

I haven't been to any outlet malls in a while--the one out in Kenosha is dangerous-LOL--I spend way too much $ everytime we stop there.  The one out in Aurora is OK--I'm not really into  a lot of the stores that they have and they do have a lot of "sporting" clothing stores too.

ditto! I used to work up at the Prime Outlets while in college and loved it there. You really can't beat the sales tax! Have fun shopping

I vote for Prime Outlets In WI !! I might be going on Sunday !!

The outlets are so much fun! I love them.  You should go now before the holiday rush starts and the parking gets horrible.

I agree Prime Outlets in WI are better, but beware there is construction on the highway.

I was actually just at the Kenosha Outlet last weekend! I definitely did enough damage -- but I was good and decided not to buy the Coach purse that I desperately wanted.

I don't get out to the Aurora outlet as much, but I do feel like they have more brand stores and Kenosha has more practical stores. But I could be wrong. That's just how I feel about them. But I definitely agree about parking -- Aurora is *always* packed when I go.

I'm late to reply, but wanted to ditto the Prime Outlets in Kenosha.  The Banana Republic Outlet store is my favorite!  If you go to the visitor desk, you can buy a coupon booklet for $5 that will save you a bit of $, too.  I've also never had trouble parking there.
