Wine....

I wasn't sleepy when I got home, and then I remembered we picked up a couple bottles of wine on our anniversary trip. So, since I'm getting a bit tipsy - and sleepy - on a lovely blush, what are your favorite wines?

Re: Wine....

  • I love reislings and blush. though I recently had a pinot gregio (I think?) that was super fruity and yummy. no reds for me though.
  • I love reds.  My favourite is cabernet sauvignon.  My parents  make wine, and I've been begging them for years to make a cab-sauv, and they keep forgetting.  >:C

  • I'm not big on reds either. I love a good white zinfandel or riesling.

And to be honest, a glass and a half of wine and it's all that takes to get me pretty tipsy.

  • I'm more of a white fan - rieslings, pinot gregio, zinfandel, etc.

I have tried one red (pinot noir) that I like, but I don't remember the name of it.  If I drink red it has to be a little more on the sweet side.

  • I love Rieslings and Gewurztraminers.  I also love a good ros?.  I do drink reds (mostly cab-sauv), but not as often as whites.

    I despise chardonnay.

  • It took 2 glasses for me last night, before I stumbled off to bed. I can't do anything too dry, as it gives me a headache, but I like anything in the semi sweet or sweet category, and so far blushes and whites are my favorite. I didn't get into wine until after I met Zach, so I'm new to it and don't know what's what yet - but I'm willing to taste it, as long as someone else drives home.
  • I like sweet wines - Reislings,Chardonnay, Blush. DH is more in to Reds. I bought an Ice Wine at his request a year and a half ago. He thought we would use it for a wedding toast but in the hustle of the day did not open that bottle. Probably a good thing as we would not have had the time to really enjoy it. Maybe we should open it when we have our cake top on our anniv. This post made me think about doing this. So thanks!
  • I prefer red's mostly Cabs but I'll drink white zin, and some whites. I like bare-foot brand's sweet red.

  • I'm not a huge wine person, but I do enjoy pinot noirs from the Wilamette Valley in Oregon. I don't like CA pinots, which sucks because they're most of what's on the market in southern California!

  • I love ice wines and late harvest, but they are so expensive.  We only really drink sweet white and fruit wines.  I stick to local wineries for the most part so I don't have many suggestions.  Niagaras are usually pretty mild we do end up liking most wineries Niagara

  • I am more of a beer drinker but once in a while I decide to be 'fancy' and drink wine lol.  When that happens I love Reislings and White Zins.  Barefoot makes an amazing Reisling that is cheap and Sutter Home is my fav White Zin.  I like some chard. but typically I prefer that as a spritzer with a little sprite.  I hate red wine.
