I saw you did make the switch to Sprint. We are going to be looking at out options of staying with verizon when we finally switch to smartphones but are also going to check out Sprint...have you liekd the coverage so far?? Is it quite a bit cheaper than verizon? My big concern is coverage as I travel some for work in rural Nebraska.
Re: Holly
So far I like the switch and haven't had any problems. We were with Verizon for 12 years and it just seemed like they were starting to nickel and dime us. I didn't mind them but one of the biggest reasons we switched was what we could get for the amount of money. Here is the breakdown, you can see why Sprint looked like a big juicy steak to us
Sprint Verizon
Nights Start at 7 pm Nights Start at 9 pm
Able to call ANY mobile for FREE only call other VZ cells or "circle" for free
share 1500 minutes share 1400 minutes
Data plan INCLUDED in price Would pay extra $60 (DH & I) for data
Data service is unlimited Limited data and gets slower the more you use
WITH work discount total is WITH work discount total is around
around $160/mo $135/Mo
DH and I both had regular non smartphones and were in desperate need of new ones. His was falling apart and i actually had the EnV Touch but the software went bad so I was back to my OLD EnV that was like 6 years old! VZ told me that I could get my EnV Touch replaced but i was already on my third one and i didn't really like it anyway plus I was eligible for an upgrade anyway. The problem was that since I refused to pay for a data plan (plus DH would want one too) and make our bill $200/mo, our options of getting a phone were limited to like 3 phones that didn't' require the data package. It was ridiculous so we left. I swear, Sprint gets more and more customers coming from VZ because of their prices/plans/requiring data, plus I heard it's going to get worse. I asked around and people who have Sprint seemed to love it and didn't have any problems. Every cell company borrows eachothers towers anyway so you should always have service. E can tell you that
Good luck! And did you like my link? haha
