As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. I saw a few posts back that Gerren won a weekend trip to Newport! Congrats that's awesome recognition!! If you need/want any rec's for the area let me know, I live about 30 minutes north of Newport. November is a great time of year to go, the weather isn't horrible and the tourists are gone!!!

The great thing about eating in Newport is that *honestly* everything is really good and super fresh. The Thames st. area is FULL of tavern/casual type places. Also, because it's off season, you might find a great deal on restaurants.
My favorites are:
The Black Pearl (a little pricey-r) but it's a must on most peoples trips to Newport - chowder + lunchtime = perfection
Brick Alley Pub
The Red Parrot
22 Bowen's warf is one of my favorites, but it's a splurge
