I think that MUST be it!!! 

I thought that view count was totally crazy too!  I think though when a view count gets up there then everyone else needs to click to see what could be contained inside that is sooooooo interesting.  Some posts on other boards get out of control and have a lot of views just so people can check out the crazy.  How disappointed some of those people must have been!
