I have a tendency to go over board on food.
For a partylite party, there will be definitely be 6 people there, so I'll say 6-10.
I was thinking of making:
Ham/Swiss mini sandwiches with poppy seed dressing
Cheese/Cracker Tray
Veggies with Hummus (maybe just carrots)
Jewish Apple Cake
Apple Cider, Soda, Water
Caramel Apple/Pear Slush (alcoholic)

Hi! Can I have your recipe please for the Caramel, Apple, Pear Slush?
Ditto both pps.
Maybe a pumpkin spice cake instead of apple cake?
And I want that recipe too!

I agree with the others that this sounds good if you swap an apple something for something pumpkin-y or another flavor.

good ideas! It's a 7pm party so and typically finger foods are all that people really go for at these parties. I normally do much more and it doesn't get eaten at all.
There is an apple/pear slush mix from tastefully simple, that I'll be making with van gogh's caramel vodka, sorry it's nothing fancier.
I think it sounds fine for a 7 p.m. party as long as guests know not to expect a full dinner. I wouldn't eat the ham sandwiches, but I could eat dinner before arriving and then just snack on the other goodies.
I don't mind all the apple stuff. I love apple dishes at this time of the year. A pumpkin cake/dessert would be fine, but not necessary in my opinion. I'm loving all things apple right now.
