Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Have you received a "forced" update to google mail? Have you noticed you no longer get notifications for new emails? Dh & I have the same phone & both of ours are having the same issues.
Anyone else? Have you found a solution?

The update installed overnight for me. I've been getting my notifications for new emails as usual, but I don't use gmail as my mail client...I just have my yahoo account synced,
I did read that one of the things they were touting about this update is fully customizable notifications - maybe you have to go in and "customize" the new settings to be notified each time you receive a new email? (If you haven't tried that already).
I know there was an update months ago that changed the settings to only show me emails from the last 3 days - It took me until a couple of weeks ago to realize that I just had to go into the settings and specify that I wanted to be able to load xxx number of emails. So frustrating!
