...a ton more goes wrong, haha!
Before we left for our trip my laptop's screen died and the Apple store couldn't fix it so we had to buy a new computer. Then on the way out the door for our trip I shut the laptop off (we were transferring the data) and the screen went back on! Haha!
We just got back from our trip yesterday. On the way down the condensation from the A/C was leaking into the passenger seat and I mean gallons came out over the course of a day. We had to stop driving and get towels from a Target to sop up some of the liquid. We finally got that fixed when we got into town. Plus replaced a missing hubcap.
Then on the way back to Decatur we noticed a crack in the windshield. It got bigger on the second day but we couldn't get anyone to come fix it at the hotel (we have glass coverage through our car insurance) so we drove back to ATL with the crack (we were told it was safe to do so). Just got that fixed today and I'm glad we had the coverage - it was over 300$ but we paid nothing!
Also, there is a small woodland creature stuck in our chimney above the flue closure. It's been flopping around all day. There's a hole above our patio where the squirrels have crawled in. You can also hear them scampering around above the ceiling. It's very weird and maintenance doesn't know what to do about it. Yeesh.
It's just too weird about how when something happens it all happens. I can't help but wonder what's next...
Re: When something goes wrong
Wow! That's a lot to deal with! I had similar issues with my car last year, needed to replace a sensor and my windshield in a short amount of time. Ugh, when it rains, it really pours.
I hope you catch a break! And I hope you had a great trip!

I hear you there. I can only take 2 days or so at home or with the ILs, as much as I love being home. Someday I hope we live close by and can just visit when we want without having to make weekend visits of it.
Wishful thinking. :P
