Fabric Fabric Everywhere!
I was in a small town 45 minutes away from work today when I spotted an itty bitty LQS down a side street. I moseyed on in and dropped $$ on a selection of fat quarters. (I'm stash building with a few projects in mind).
What should arrive on my doorstep tonight but the package of fat quarters and charm squares which I ordered online a week or so ago (shipping is slow to Canada sometimes). I don't even know what to do with myself. I'm going to spend the next 1/2 hour joyfully sorting my fabric collection!
Re: Fabric Fabric Everywhere!
Totally can understand the excitement! Enjoy!
Stand up for something you believe in.
I was out in Arnprior for a job and the shop was called Sew Inspired. It was cute. Not a huge selection but some up-to-date fabrics that I wanted.
I bought the fabric online from Sew Fresh Fabrics.
I usually go to the quilt shop in Kanata called The Running Stitch since my office is in the West end of the city.
And hello fellow Ottawan!

Great !! Thanks for the info
I recently started taking a sewing class. Would like to eventually make my own clothes. But I noticed there aren't very many stores other than FabricLand for materials. I was told to go to JoAnne's in Ogdensburg U.S( this might be spelt wrong). But I will check out those places. Right now I am buying my supplies at Darrel Thomas on Preston Street downtown.
