thank you note ettiquette

we threw the girls a joint birthday party this year.  Do I need to send a thank you from each girl or is one thank you from the both of them okay?  For people that weren't at the party, but sent presents to the house, should I do together or separate?  Since their birthdays are just four days apart, gifts we got were all sent in the same package or in the same card if that makes a difference.

Re: thank you note ettiquette

  • Since they're too young to write them on their own, I'd say together is no problem at all! When they get a bit older, I still think together in one card/letter but they can each write their part, would be fine. Yay for teaching thank you notes!!!

  • I would definitely send one note to each person.
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • I would combine them, especially since the gifts were sent together.
