I'm not getting much help over here. I know most of you guys have dogs. What do you do to help wit the doggy stink? Salty smelled like the sweet plastic smell that Croc stores smell like. I miss a nice smelling dog! Help me!

ETA: y'all in the title was quirky, the rest of it was grating.

Re: Y'all, Cori stinks!

  • Is there any chance he has a yeast infection? I think some dogs are just musty. We were lucky with Brodie like you were with Salty...he just smelled good. He could go forever without a bath and not stink. When we first got him however we lived in a brand new townhouse w/light carpet so I was really anal about keeping him clean. We bathed him once a week w/Oatmeal Shampoo and it never messed up his skin.

  • He did have a yeast infection when I first got him, but the vet said it's cleared up. I'll do a closer check to see if it's come back.

  • Sorry, but I think some dogs just stink. Like how some dogs have worse breath than others. K has gnarly butt breath, but G doesn't.
