Last minute tips for a surprise party!
Just wanted to hear all your thoughts and I thought this was the right place to do it!
Tomorrow I am throwing a surprise party for my husbands 40th birthday. Any tips or ideas or experiences you want to share are welcome!
Re: Last minute tips for a surprise party!
Ask someone to take pictures. Ask someone else to help you watch food/drink levels. Most of all, let things go and have fun!
(and come back and review what worked and what didn't)
Make sure whomever is keeping him busy until party time doesn't do one of the following:
(1) Get the time wrong
(2) Take him to the wrong place
(3) Take him in the wrong entrance
Seen all three happen. The wrong place one wasn't so bad, they just to the party about 15 minutes late (and the decoy had to cover). The wrong entrance one was kinda hilarious, because everyone was crowded in the living room and he walked in behind us all and asked what we were doing. The wrong time one sucked because guests were pulling in, food was just getting set out, and there was no fanfaire/surprise element.
