random: office plants

do any of you have any?  we were just having birthday cake in the office area and discussing these super ugly hanging pots, which we concluded were mostly ugly because they were empty.  I'd be just as happy taking them down, but I guess people liked the idea of putting plants in them (apparently they used to have plants and were taken care of when my boss had a secretary).

So any recommendations?  It doesn't really get sunlight and I have no idea what kind of plant would survive there - I imagine it's one of those boring plants, lol.  But maybe it would be nice :)

Re: random: office plants

  • No suggestions for hanging baskets. I'd ask one of the greenhouses in town.

I'm responsible for the 15 office plants we have - of course no one told me that my entire first month, so then I had to revive a bunch.

I'm trying to figure out if I should do it on the weekend - come, take the pots, buy plants, go to parents house to plant them, then bring them back.  Ugh.  Well, maybe I'll get around to it one of these days...
