Hi all!
I've only posted here a few times, but I feel like I sort of "know" you because I occasionally lurk around here (but mostly stick to lurking on the D&R board).
Anyway, I was wondering where all of you buy your pumpkins--I've been living in Omaha for a little over a year, didn't buy pumpkins last year and don't really know where the deals are at. I went to Vala's last weekend, but since I am childless and cheap, I didn't spend a whole lot (but came home with a few white baby pumpkins/gourds).
I know Bakers/Lowes/etc. have them, but I have to believe there is something better out there...
Thanks!
Re: Cheap pumpkins?
This! Yes, they are open. Their crop didn't do as well this year so they don't have very many large pumpkins, but they have lots of medium sized ones and minis. They have been packed every time I've driven by there over the last couple of weeks so I'm not sure what they have left.
I bought tons of pumpkins from them this year. I loaded a wheelbarrow for $12. Mini pumpkin gourds are free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
