As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Scary night at the Rice Harvest Festival
We went with my BFF (DD's aunt) and the kids to the local festival. The kids are all in line for a ride and having fun. We are waiting at the exit for them. After the ride, DD comes up to BFF & I and says some dude was asking her name and saying hi. Not cool but we haven't seen anyone acting shady and figure it is some boy about her age flirting. So they go to get in line for another ride. BFF & I are like 5 feet away and same dude who had to be AT LEAST 20 says "Hi. You are DD's name. I am so & so. What is your last name?" I immediately call DD over to stand between us and BFF & I are seriously ready to whoop the dude. He keeps looking over at us all weird. He apparently had a mental problem and wasn't acting his age so I can understand that he may not think he is doing anything but just being nice, but MAN! DD is 12 and all we could picture is some crazy guy snatching her. So DD and her cousin are a bit freaked out understandably. We continued to let the kids have fun but were very aware after that. My DH & my niece's grand dad were off to the side and Lord knows what would have gone down if they had seen it. We did keep an eye on the guy the rest of the time and he didn't approach anyone else or be a real threat but talk about SCARY!
