Was wondering if anyone had any products they can recommend to me. Our bathroom does not have a shower (hopefully in the next year or two) but we do have a shower stall in the basement which is enclosed with a toilet and the stall.
When I open the door to the stall, it stinks but not like sewer stuff from the drain but almost like old wet towels or something. We wash out our floor mats every week and I hang them up after my shower to dry out. I use the Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner for the shower and the doors but can't pinpoint where the smell is besides in the stall after opening the door. I either get used to it or it goes away once the water is running.
I don't own a dehumidifer yet but have been using Damp Rid in the basement in general and just put one in the shower room
Any suggestions?

That was my first thought. We just had a plastic shower stall torn out (the models you see at home depot). The floor is the pan, and if it's not connected to the drain just right then water gets under the shower floor and spreads and grows things. If, when you step in the shower, there is ANY flex or movement in the shower floor, then I'd say it's probably leaking.
