I'm in charge of treats for work tomorrow. Anything easy that will knock their socks off? Has anyone made those chocolate chip cookies with the oreo inside? Any yummy fall/pumpkin ideas? Thanks for your ideas!
Re: Treat ideas for work?

White chocolate pumpkin cookies
Ingredients
2 cups white whole wheat flour
(Or white. Whole wheat just reduces my guilt factor, resulting in increased enjoyment. ha!)
1 ? cups old-fashioned oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 ? teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
? teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter; softened
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup pure pumpkin puree
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup dried cherries; roughly chopped or craisins
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line your baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper.
2. Combine flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice and salt in medium bowl. Beat butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in large mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
3. Add pumpkin, egg and vanilla extract; mix well. Add flour mixture; combine until all ingredients are incorporated. Fold in white chocolate chips and dried cherries.
4. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets.
5. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Otherwise, a can or two of apple pie filling topped with one sack of oatmeal cookie mix + 1 stick of butter cut into the cookie mix = heaven.
Bake 375 for 25-30 min (until topping is browned.
Eat it like that or with honey/caramel drizzled over the top.
I dont know what type of treats you are lookin' for but these cinnamon rolls are the best. I took them to work saturday and they were gone in 10 minutes.
1 package of frozen cinnamon roll dough - 12 rolls/package and they come with packets of frosting. (hy-vee makes them, roade's cinnamon rolls etc in the freezer section)
3/4 c white sugar
3/4 c brown sugar
3/4 c vanilla ice cream
1 stick butter/margarine
put cinnamon rolls in an ungreased 9x13 pan in a single layer.
in a small sauce pan melt butter, both sugars, and ice cream. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Pour over frozen cinnamon rolls. Put foil over the top and put in your fridge over night.
Next morning pre-heat oven to 350. put rolls in covered for 20 minutes. Then uncover for 20 more minutes. Remove from oven. Top with frosting and enjoy.
My easy snack for fall-
Bag of candy corn
Bag of M&Ms
Can of peanuts
Throw in a container and mix it up. It's good and easy for a munching food
