Good mole killing techniques?
I've had moles under the deck for a while and now that I'm getting serious about my food-bearing plants I think I finally need to get serious about getting rid of these guys. I have a small yard too so I really don't feel good about options were I gotta poison everything just to make sure I get the moles too.
Any good ideas out there? I have no idea if they hibernate or are active all winter so I am not sure if this time of year is even a good time to get into this.
Re: Good mole killing techniques?
my neighbor put spikes in her lawn that emit a noise that drives them away. I think she just got them at a local hardware store but here are some I found online.

LMAO! I like that.
We have a dog. No more moles. Dogs are great at keeping all kinds of damaging dcritters away from our home. But I love the gum idea. And yes, they do hibernate.
We have lived in our house for almost 4 years now. This summer for the first time we had moles in our backyard. We called a local exterminator and for $125 he caught and killed two moles. End of problem. He set some kind of trap with a bucket over it and came back a few days later to move the traps to new mounds. He got them after two checks.
With moles I wouldn't want to mess around myself.
