I'm not one for getting all dressed up for Halloween but I like to BE in the Halloween spirit. My back up options are a black angel (simple) and black cat (more simple).
However, this year I have been inspired to make my own no sew mummy costume. This is my first time attempting to make my own costume. I soaked a white sheet in water with tea bags and leftover coffee from yesterday and have the sheet air drying now.
I plan to rip the sheet in long 2inch strips, and glue them all over/cover a black dress. Make my hair very curly, wild & puffy, use a strip as a bandana around my hair, dark eyes and lips, fishnet stocking and black boots. WDYT?
Any advice? Tips? Words of encouragement. Anyone tried this before? Cross your fingers for me....

Thanks! I'll have to see what I can pull out of my closet. I was going to Good Will the Black dress and pulled it out of the bag for this project. I think I have a brown beach dress I haven't worn in years that may work.
