Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Anyone not working today?
I guess since I've always had today off (going to school, and then teaching), I forget that not everyone gets it off.
DH just left for work, and now I'm spiraling head first into proctrastination mode...but I have a crapton of things to do today!
Anyone else off too?

You get Columbus day off?! I don't think I've had that off since elementary school - in fact, I didn't even know it was a holiday today until you said something.
I'm not sure if I'll make the GTG tonight or not. I was hoping this semester would be easier since it's my last real semester before I write my thesis full time but it is not turning out that way.
I seriously always forget that barely anyone has Columbus Day off. Now that I think about it, I didn't get it off in college, but always when I was k-12 growing up.
Ugh school. I graduate in May, and I've hit the "senioritis" equivalent for grad students. I don't want to do anything..I just want to be finished. I have my problem statement, purpose statement and significance statement all due tomorrow. I've atleast outlined them all, I just have to type them all up. sigh.
that sounds so nice! DH is working until 8:30, so he'll be home around 9:15...booo
I was off today! I love having random days off.
DH didn't have to go to work till noon so we made breakfast together and had a lazy morning. I've been trying to hammer out some photo editing. I think I need to take a break and go vacuum and make dinner. I'm starting to get distracted bigtime! I'll be back later for our GTG!

I understand completely about school. I graduate in may also and am taking my last actual classes this semester; next semester is just me and my thesis for 4 long months. I'm really just over it. I seriously get up at 6 and don't stop doing work until midnight except to cook/eat. I can't wait for a job where I actually have weekends and evenings to myself. Are you getting your masters in education?
