Woot Woot! BC Update
I don't know if you guys all saw my last post about the headache that was trying to get my BC filled at home, but I am happy to report - I finally got my BC in Belgium! It was SO easy!!! And instead of $30 a pack, it was about $4 - 10 EUR for 3 month supply! Woo hoo! All I had to do was bring my meds to the pharmacy, they looked up the active ingedient and Voila! gave me a three month supply. I am so excited! And I am realizing that maybe everything doesn't have to be so hard in Belgium...

Yay!! If only you knew sooner you wouldn't have had to stock up when you went home and safed money.
And another question: WTF does it cost so much more? Seriously, I hate how the pharmceutical companies rape the patient in the States.
I have NO IDEA why it costs so much more - think of the mark up!
When I first tried to get it at home in the US, the generic version I wanted was not being made anymore. They wanted to get me to buy the brand name stuff for $100 a pack - I was like F-that!
I almost switched to another kind just to be able to afford it! Now, I am so thankful I can keep my body on the same meds and it's so much cheaper!
