I feel like I'm officially an Iowan now
We spend yesterday afternoon out at a farm doing a corn maze and watching piglets race. We ended up having a lot of fun. It looked like they made a killing off it too because the place was packed with kids.
Anyone else do anything fun this weekend?

My mom, sister and SIL came up on Friday morning and we all headed to IC for a day of shopping. It was a blast.
We're planning a trip to the pumpkin patch in the next two weekends. Not sure which one this year. We try to alternate so we're not going to the same place all the time.
Finally finished our summertime project (the deck) on Saturday. Sunday we did part of Spoon River Drive... if we ever do it again, should go the first weekend. There wasn't much to buy on the last day unless you wanted baby girl clothes or grandma's 1970's mint dishes.
I never want to officially feel like an Illinois-ian. My allegiance will always be with Iowa! Much love!
Haha- yeah, our gifts have become more practical over time. We are in need of a new computer and tv this year... so looks like the Illinois Santa will be getting one of those for us this year.
