Re: Monday
Sorry you feel icky
Trying to get work done since it is my last day before the move. I probably wont be around much for the next week, internet shut off and move will be keeping me busy. But should be back after that.
Comfort foods, hmm I will have to get back to you on that one
Kind of somber day. A professor at our local college was killed this weekend during a break-in. Very sad
Comfort foods: mac & cheese and chili. And pretty much cheese in general... I'm entirely convinced it should be its own food group.
Sorry you're not feeling well. I think there's something going around up here.
I'm a firm believer in airborn, try some of that.
I get to work at 3:30, there's a St. Louis Blues game on at 1, and I'd be perfectly happy to just lounge around in pj's all day. Zach's on fall break til Wednesday and doesn't have to work til 5:30, so it's a lazy day in the Schuette household.
Comfort food would be dessert. Cookies, brownies, cake, pie...I recently discovered snickers blend ice cream by Breyers, so that gets added to the list.
Oh my goodness-do you happen to live near Goshen?! That is where I am from and I just saw it in the news. So horrible--and Goshen is such a safe place!!
I'm exhausted! I just got a new client at work (I am a caregiver for senior citizens) and I have to be at his house at 6 am. It's terrible getting up that early because I can never go to sleep early enough (I should mention that for my other client I have to be there at 7 am, and I thought that was bad!)
I really love mashed potatoes!! My mom would have to make tons of potatoes so we each (4 kids) could eat as much as we wanted.
How horrible!! Goshen was a wonderful place to grow up, this kind of thing is so rare. I can only remember a couple of things like that happening!
I'm not that shocked. I have relatives in SB and we had a cousin killed in a home invasion in Bristol a couple of years ago. She was a newlywed in her early 20's with an infant. They broke in while she was home alone and killed her to steal from the apartment to buy drugs. It wasn't a nice complex, but it was all they could afford. She tried to get out of the lease after they had their first break in, but the landlord wouldn't let them break it under the curcumstances. This was the result of the landlord's not letting them out of a dangerous situation.
Hope you feel better!
I don't really have any left since I found out my body doesn't tolerate gluten. Does alcohol count?
YES!
I am feeling much much better after I had a long shower. Thanks ladies.

You're welcome and thanks! Glad to hear you're feeling better. I had 2 Crispin English Hard Cider Drafts tonight at dinner and they were yummy. They're organic, gluten free, no sugar added, hard ciders. They sweeten them with honey and maple syrup making them extra smooth with no after taste. We won't talk about the rest of the meal. I do have leftovers for the second half of Monday Night Football though!
